This post contains affiliate links.Last Christmas season I was totally on a roll.You know, back when I wasn’t 30 seconds away from bringing new life into the world while being obsessed with painting every surface I can get my hands on.I was coming up with all of these fun little ideas all over the place that were taking almost no effort at all, but really helped to bring that whole homemade Christmas feel to the house.

It was a good time!.Although I don’t have many Christmas decorations up yet this year, I know that those trees will look so much better against freshly-painted walls when (if?)

I thought it couldn’t hurt to share a few of my projects from last year though, just because I always love a good easy-peasy project and I’m sure a lot of you do too..And here’s the tree all decorated!

The plan was to have this done a long time ago, of course, before Jack was born.As it turned out, I ended up decorating it mostly holding a fussy baby in one hand..

I had to make it a pretty quick decorating job, but I still really love how it turned out.It helped that I had all my decorations planned out already.. Chris isn’t a big fan of the idea of an artificial tree.
